Some people prefer to provide help and support directly to those in need. Others however prefer to give money to national and international charitable organizations. Discuss both views and give your own opinion

Helping a person in need is considered to be a great human value. There are two ways one can lend
support
to a needy person.
This
can be done either by directly providing them with the
money
or by donating some amount to charitable organisations. There are a number of non profitable organizations that work for the welfare of other people. They collect the
money
required from people and distribute it among the needful sectors. There are separate organisations for children, senior citizens, medical organisation, etc. The dilemma in
this
type of charity is that the person donating the amount, does not know where it is used. Contrastingly, there are other organisations where people who donate
money
can directly fund a particular individual requiring their help and
support
.
For example
, an orphan requiring
support
for education can directly be given the
money
to buy

books
and attend school. To conclude, in my opinion, it is important to know whether the charity made by someone is properly utilised or not.
Afterall

After all
the
money
is hard-earned by them. So, it is better to directly
support
someone.
