Some people think that big international sporting events are not worthwhile for the host country. Do you agree or disagree?

The argument, over whether sports competitions at

are beneficial or futile for the hosting states, has not been settled yet;
however
, I completely disagree with the statement because international tournaments are a great source of revenue for the organizing

and it
also
opens employment opportunities for its citizens. To embark with, the countries, where international events are organized, earn a lot of money.
Firstly
, it comes from several sources
such
as advertisement agencies who pay a hefty amount to sponsor these events, and in return get publicity and product recognition all over the world.
Secondly

to purchase tickets, and
also
the cost of air travel, visa fee, and accommodation cost, provide benefit to host countries in the form of tax.
For example
, the Daily Times in the United Kingdom published a report that the government’s monetary status was boosted to fifty billion pounds in the Cricket world cup 2019. What is more, jobs are created in the respective

This

For instance
, Brazil has invited two thousand nationals to apply for full-time and part-time employment for the upcoming Olympics on an attractive remuneration.
Therefore
, more employed nationals work for the prosperity of the

and
also
improve its economy. To conclude, I disagree with the notion that big competitions are fruitless because it would lower the unemployment rate of the

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
