Immigration has a major impact on the society. What are the main reasons of immigration? To what consequences can it lead?

Societies have been affected by people moving from one
country
to another.
This
is largely because people are looking for greener pastures. There are many reasons why people leave their
country
to another.
This
movement
also
has its implications.
Firstly
, one of the major reasons why people migrate is to have access to better
quality
of
life
. Statistics show that a large number of people from underdeveloped
country
moved out of their home
country
on a yearly basis in search of better living.
In other words

, not only do people from underdeveloped countries tend to relocate to western world every year for improved

In addition
, people
also
migrate in order to gain access to better

education as well as good health care system and improved
life
quality
as a whole.
For instance

education for our children. Migration,
however
, has its drawbacks, as people experience both psychological and emotional effects of migrating to a new
country
. Generally speaking, most Migrants face a lot of discrimination,
that is
to say, when they go to another
country
, they sometimes are
threated
subjected to a physical (or chemical) treatment or action or agent
treated
as
second
class citizens and unfairly because they are not originally from the same
country
as them. They
therefore
are not given equal opportunity as the citizens of that nation and
this
in turn
negatively affects

their emotions and
consequently
lead to psychological problems

In conclusion

,
even though people generally migrate so that they can have a good

also
some downsides

as a result

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
