With pressure on today's young people to succeed academically, some people believe the non-academic subjects should be removed from the syllabus so that children can concentrate wholly on academic subjects. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In today's highly populated environment, the level of competition seems to follow Morse's law,

level of competition instils a sense of fear into some people and forces them to take

a stand on a non-inclusion of non-academic subjects.
Although
it might make sense in the mind of a concerned parent, I strongly disagree with the idea. The interests that reside among young students are unique and I believe that they are to be given an opportunity to gain an exposure to all fields and schools of thought since
