precipitation
follows irregular
trend
with very low figures at the beginning of the
year
and at the ending of the
year

However

year
rainfall rate is very high. On the other side, there was an upward
trend
in the
temperature
followed by a declining
trend
till the end of the
year
. In January, the
temperature
of Kolkata is 20 degree Celsius.
This
was followed by an increase in
temperature
till May, where the
temperature
reaches above 30 degrees, which is the highest value in the
year
. After
this
, the figure slowly declines till August to just above 25 degrees. Having remained stable for
next
one month, the
temperature
decreases to just above 20 degree Celsius by December.
On the other hand
,
precipitation
level, which was just under 50
mm
in January, increases to 50
mm
by April.
This
was followed by a surge in the figure to just under 350
mm
by June. Following
this
,
although
there was a declining
trend
in the value of
precipitation
rate, the figure is above 25
mm
till September. In October, the rate fell to almost half of its value in September.
