Nowadays, many countries are spending millions of dollars on space research. Some people believe that instead of spending it on research governments should focus on enhancing the earth's standard of living. I completely agree with this statement because inhabitants are living on this planet which needs the necessities to be able to survive including improving the educational system, healthcare system etc, whereas space research can't bring any positive development to humans.
