Dear Sir, I am writing
this
letter to let you know about some problems I have been encountering ever since I moved to the new team. As you are aware that my core competency is Core Java, but of late I was moved to new technology
that is
React JavaScript. It is altogether a new domain for me,
moreover
, I do not have any prior experience which is impacting my productivity in daily activities,
for example
, it took me 5 days to complete a piece of code which
otherwise
was expected to be completed in 2 days.
Hence
my lead Thomas was furious at me which I totally understand, but at the same

it was de-motivating for me. As I am very new to technology, there would obviously be some learning curve and I would expect the team to allow me some time to cope up with the new challenge. I have always been a star performer and I am confident given some time I will come out with flying colours.
Additionally
, it will be great if you can permit me to attend a

workshop on React Javascript which would cost around USD 500. It is a comprehensive workshop on the language which would help me to adapt quickly. I suppose
this
is the best way to deal with the problem. I hope you will understand my situation and support me

Word Count

IELTS says that you should write a minimum of 150 words in writing task 1. If you go under word count you will lose marks in task response.

A very long letter will not give you a higher band score.

Aim for between 160 to 190 words in writing task 1. This will ensure a concise letter and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 20 minutes to write the letter and you need around 5 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long letter in 15 minutes.
