and vegetables was just 25% in the beginning.
This
figure rose drastically to reach the peak of 32% in 2006, before falling back to 26% in 2010. In terms of men and children eating

and vegetable, the trend is relatively stable and started at 23% and 11% respectively. While the rate for men found a slight increment by 4% in 2006, children witnessed a better growth and reached 18%.
However

this
growth was less when compared to that of the women in the same year. From
this
point, the values for both the categories declined by exactly 2% each and
finally
settled at 24% and 16% respectively in 2010. Overall, it can be seen that women are the top consumers of
fruit
and vegetables, followed by men. In spite of a significant increase of children eating these foods, the ratio is low in comparison to the counterparts.
