Some people think that children should be punished when they commit a crime. Some others think that their parents should be punished. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Children should be given freedom only up to a certain limit. Nowadays, parents give more freedom to them, which could result in a positive or negative way. Some people think that they should be given the right punishment while being involved in a crime, whereas others think that their parents are fully responsible and should take the blame on them.
This
essay will discuss both views of the argument and provide evidence as to why parents should be held responsible for their mistakes.
Firstly
, children always tend to learn everything from their parents, teachers, and people around them. So they usually tend to acquire good as well as bad things from us. It is our sole responsibility and we teach positive and healthy habits for them.
Also
, they learn a lot from behaviour and usually tend to practise it.
For instance
, if parents through disposables outside the vicinity without throwing them into the bins, even children tend to follow the same traits and habits we do. So parents should always preach the young one's proper behaviour so that they could grow into better people in the future.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
