The graph below shows the amounts of waste produced by three companies over a period of 15 years. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The line graph illustrates the quantity of
waste
production
of three companies
labeled
bearing or marked with a label or tag
labelled
A, B and
C
from 2000 to 2015. Units are measured in tonnes.Overall, one main element of
this
graph is that companies A and
C
had completely opposite trends. For the given
period
,
company
A decreased its
waste
production
at a fairly steady rate while
company
C
has constantly increased its amount of junk.
Company
B set itself apart with its
production
going up in the
first
5 years before going down at a higher rate than
company
A.As mentioned above, companies A and B have dramatically cut into the amount of
waste
they produce when compared to the beginning of the
period
.
Company
A was the biggest
waste
producer of all in 2000 with 12 tonnes, but it has worked towards reducing constantly
this
number to reach about 8 tonnes. When looking closer at
company
B, we see it started the
period
at 8 tonnes,
then
went up to 10 tonnes in 2005 before experiencing an important drop and finished at 3 tonnes in 2015.
Finally
, the
company
C
started the
period
with the lowest amount of
waste
at about 4 tonnes, but its
waste
production
has grown up constantly to end at 10 tonnes in 2015.
