Nowadays the way many people interact with each other has changed because of technology. In what ways has technology affected the types of relationships people make? Has this become a positive or negative development?

Opinions are divided as to whether
technology
has altered the way people communicate. Despite the fact that
technology
has changed the interaction between people, I believe that there are both advantages and disadvantages. There are several ways that
technology
has revolutionized relationships between people.
Firstly
, it allows people to communicate with others around the globe promptly.
For instance
, people can instantly talk to anyone living in any part of the world through social media, sma

Also
, it brings people closer together.
Secondly
, students can exchange and collaborate on group work, using
technology
-based tools like Google classroom or Google drive in which they can work interactively with classmates.
Finally
, technologies improve business meetings since people can discuss with teams and present their project just by using video con

Furthermore
, I believe that
technology
has a positive impact on the development of relationships between people.
First
of all, modern

oday, patients can easily talk to doctors as there is a mobile health application; allowing patients to consult with the doctor directly, particularly when something urgent happens.
Thus
, they do not need to go to the hospital immediately.
On the other hand
, the drawbacks of
technology
cannot be overlooked.
Technology
creates a family divide. Children do not interact with their families since they are busy talking to their friends on social media, surfing their fav

Besides
,
this
seriously affects them as they do not have opportunities to practice interaction skills. In conclusion, modern
technology
has become almost every aspect of our lives and it has been a positive and negative development.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
