Schools should not force children to learn a foreign language. To what extent do you agree with this statement?

Children who come from several cultures, may be forced by schools to learn a foreign

, it is the ministry of education responsibility to determine whether foreign languages are needed in their schools or not. For me, English

 is a must in all non-English schools. Obviously, English is the main door to success for those who want to have better opportunities in the future.

 can be an absolute added value. That said, in some closed communities or countries who have limited resources, mother tongue is enough for them to fulfil their children's education. They consider being children will not add value to their communication or education skills, and

, they think foreign

 can be easily achieved for grownups with less effort.

, governments must encourage schools to consider foreign languages as mandatory topics for children. Parents as well have a crucial part in
this
 mission. They have to help their children understand the major benefits they can obtain from being able to speak multiple languages from one side, and being connected to their roots keeping their mother
language
 alive.
