The bar graph elaborated by the magazine Silicon Valley Insider gives information about the percentage of people aged 16-29 and 30+ who use four types or devices for reading: Desktop/laptop, e-reader, mobile phone and tablet.
This
research is based on 166 people aged 16-29 and 621 people aged 30+. Overall, it can be seen that, most people aged 16-29 read throughout desktops or laptops (55%), while most people aged 30+ prefer e-readers to desktops or laptops with 46% and 38% respectively.
In contrast
with, only 23% of people aged 16-29 read e-readers and 25% of those ages 30+ read through mobile phones. Cell phones and tablets are the
third
and the fourth popular devices that people aged 16-29 use in reading with 41% and 16%, respectively, whereas those aged 30+ prefer to read throughout cell phones and tablet at almost the same percentage with 25% and just over 25% respectively.
