In some countries, renting homes is preferred to buying homes. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of renting a home.

It is well said that the
place
where a
person
stays is the reflection of his personality.
However
, for many people, their abode is the rented
one
, and surprisingly, in
lot
Suggestion
a lot
lots
of places, nowadays people are more keen to rent a house rather than purchasing
one
. Whether a
person
chooses to stay in a rented house, or wants to purchase his own house is entirely dependent on the circumstances, and both the cases are associated with their own pros and cons.
This
essay discusses the various advantages and disadvantages of the former
one
. The most common reason behind choosing a rented home, as cited by many people, is getting a suitable location.
For example
, as per the survey conducted by a Multi National Company based
in
Suggestion
on
U.K., 65% of the employees wanted to stay in the vicinity of the work
place
.
Furthermore
, many people, especially the young population, prefer to stay in the rented home because they are not willing to take up the liability of the
maintainance
activity involved in maintaining something in good working order
maintenance
of the
place
.
Also
, if the career of a
person
demands him or her to be relocated after some time,
then
for that
person
, renting a
place
is the best choice.
However
, staying in a rented apartment has its own limitations.
For instance
, a tenant is not allowed to modify or re-structure the
place
as per his wish.
Also
, it has an added burden on the pocket of the
renteer
, as he has to pay rent every month.
Moreover
, after a certain period of time,
one
has to undergo all the legal formalities to renew the contract. As an illustration, in Mumbai,
such
agreement needs to be renewed after 15 months, which sometimes become cumbersome. To conclude, I want to say that it totally varies from individual to individual and from situation to situation, where a
person
wants to stay, but as per a saying "Home is where the Family is", it does not make much difference to the persona of the individual.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
