Solar energy is becoming more and more popular as a source of household energy in many countries around the world. Why is this? What are the advantages and disadvantages of solar energy?

Nowadays, the amount of houses, which
use
solar
energy
,
that is
not only cheaper, but
also
more environmentally-friendly, as a main resource of
energy
is increasing.
Although
it has many advantages, due to some significant issues, in my opinion, we
can not
can not
cannot
completely rely on solar
power
. On the one hand, the
use
of the
sun
Suggestion
sun's
energy
could help big cities become more clean, which
likewise
means
more suitable
Suggestion
most suitable
for people.
Moreover
, it could not only preserve the environment, but
also
decreased the quantity of expenses for electricity. Solar
power
is not as expensive as other types of
energy
,
such
as coal and oil, because it's easier to mine it, so it does not make a strain on the government's budget.
Furthermore
, solar
energy
is almost an inexhaustible source, unlike,
for example
, coal or gas, which means it can be used for a very long time.
Also
, the planet Earth acquires much more sun
energy
than people from all over the world need.
This
makes solar
power
cheap
also
for people, so the amount of ones, who could afford
energy
would increase.
On the other hand
, there are some disadvantages, due to which people most likely will not switch to solar
energy
in the near future. The regions
such
as North Europe or North America do not receive enough sun in late autumn, winter and early summer.
For example
, it would be difficult to
use
solar
energy
in Russia in winter. To sum up, I personally believe that
although
the
use
of solar
power
could solve many problems, it will be very hard for the humanity to entirely switch to solar
energy
.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
