There are a lot of old buildings in need of renovation in major cities which would be a massive undertaking with financial constraints. However, based on the opinion of some experts, it is better to divert those funds to build better infrastructure like housing and roads. Personally, I vote for the restoration of the buildings.

However
, based on the opinion of some experts, it is better to divert those funds to build better infrastructure like housing and roads. Personally, I vote for the restoration of the buildings.
First
of all, taking up the task of restoration of historically significant buildings will help in preserving the culture and heritage associated with it. Despite the argument that it will set the economy of the state down, I debate there is another side to that particular coin. Restoration of these monuments to their former glory will result in making them tourist hotspots. Increased tourism directly correlates to the increased revenue of the state which
then
can be used for other projects.
Secondly
,
instead
of constructing new buildings for housing, restoring them is a viable and better option. In order to construct new houses
first
and foremost is the acquisition of land. If we keep on acquiring to accommodate for the growing population there will be no farming lands and forest areas left. So
this
way we have an alternative with a minimal effect on our ecosystem. In conclusion, restoring of old buildings would be more beneficial may it be with a historical significance or not. Either way, as far as my opinion
goes it's
Accept comma addition
goes, it's
a step towards progress both economical and ecological.
