Giving gifts are seen as a form of showing love and affection or care towards to whom we are giving it. As far as concern, it is appreciable to give gifts at least to our nears and dears. , they get a mesmerising thought of the giver and that moment of giving. Friends may get separated due to various reasons. But the gift (until its life ends) and its memories are carried over with them through out the life.
On the other hand
, Opinion differs from person to person. Some people think it's simply a waste of money. Or it should be a useful one.
Instead
 of giving costly gifts, they think of other ways, that they can do something for the betterment of their beloved one's life. For
eg
: they can help to get a job, give money when they are in an emergency, etc. From their point of view, it is the real care
that is
 shown to their family members or friends. I see many people keeping that gift as a treasure. But the wonder is, what they are going to do with that. If it's a book, of course it can be repeatedly used. But statues, tickets for honeymoon enjoyments, are of no use.
However
, everybody wants to surprise their loved ones, in their own way to make them happy. So

, giving gifts / presents are not wrong to get corrected, it is

 a form to show love for one's view.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.
