People say that reading for pleasure helps people to develop imagination and better language skills than watch TV. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Technology has been flourishing leaps and bounds and providing us new avenues of learning various aspects. Among them is television, which has replaced the contemporary method in enhancing imagination and linguistic skills and people are on view that later is more effective. I will discuss on both the aspects before giving my opinion. To embark with,

, let me elaborate on

 notion that reading books, magazines, newspapers does not project on a particular subject, but gives an idea upon which an individual can have his own thoughts and way of processing it taking his own time.
Secondly
, it inculcates ways to analyse a subject and have different perspectives. 
On the other hand
, Television projects picture with words and give clarity and meaning to newbies. It can be helpful for infants who are not familiar with the words or adults learning different languages for their personal growth.
Moreover
, children find tvs interesting rather than books and catalogues and the present generation give more preference to video learning. There are many applications to help children nourish and nurture through modern technology.
Last
 but not the least, we learn and analyse only what is seen on screen momentarily and our mind doesn't get time to imagine the same. In my opinion, though the advantages of television have outnumbered the antique method,

, reading books helps in learning new words, develops communication skills and way ahead of modern science.
