Every country has poor people and every country has different ways of dealing with the poor. What are some of the reasons for world poverty? How can the poor be helped? Give reasons for your answers and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

The
World
population
has reached 6.5 billion. The
Population
is steadily growing in developing countries across the
world
. India alone has a
population
of 1.3 billion and it will soon surpass China as the most populous
country
in the word. With the growing
population
, the
world
is facing
population
of hunger and
poverty
.
Poverty
is a huge problem in developing countries of Asia and Africa. Ironically, the
population
growth rate is

these countries.
This
means that the
poverty
levels are bound to increase if proper steps are not taken by the
government
and the
world
community. The most prominent reason for
poverty
is low literacy level. The Poor people are not educated and self-reliant.

are caught in a vicious circle and cannot get out of

. They do not have enough

to meet their daily need of two square meals a day. Another important reason for
poverty
is corruption.
This
is another problem that plagues the developing
country
. The politicians and
government
officials are only interested in amassing wealth for themselves and their relatives. The
government
policies are poorly
strategized
and executed. The resources are not distributed equally among these people and they do not reach the poor and the deserving people. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. I am of the opinion that the best way to help the poor is to educate and give them employment.
Hence
, every
country
and the
world
community should come together to improve the literacy level of the poor. Education should be made free and compulsory for all till graduation.
This
will enable the poor to step out in the real
world
and take decisions for themselves.
Also
the
government
should invest in skill development to develop a trained workforce that can be employed. The human resource should be

to the
country
and contribute to its economy.
