The diagram explains about the stages and different phases of making matchsticks. The process involves a wooden log and different chemicals
such
as ammonium, phosphate, paraffin wax and other chemicals. Overall, it explains about the how the wooden log is chopped into smaller pieces which are inserted into different chemicals and which in turn are sent into drying area and
then
packed inside the boxes. We can divide the whole process into two phases. Phase one, the wooden log is peeled using a blade and a peeler,
then
they are chopped into smaller sticks and put into a tank of ammonium phosphate after which the sticks are dried inside a blower and
then
they are preserved in a storage area. In phase two, the sticks are put on to a perforated steel belt for moving them into a sequence of wax and chemicals.
Then
all the chemicals are dried on steel belt and
then
sent to the packing area to pack them in small boxes.
