The environment has become the most concerned issue these days around the globe. It is argued by some that these issues should be resolved at an international level.
However
Linking Words
, others believe that it should be dealt at the state level. In my opinion,
this
Linking Words
issue can only be solved if all the countries work together. I am going to discuss both sides of the argument in the following paragraphs. On one side, there are reasons why all the countries should tackle
this
Linking Words
issue.
To begin
Linking Words
with, there are many countries going through same environmental problems, but due to different reasons.
For instance
Linking Words
, Australia faces the challenge of land-degradation may be due to over-grazing, whereas Indonesia facing the same challenge because of deforestation.
Therefore
Linking Words
, those states might plan appropriate plans to overcome
this
Linking Words
problem.
On the other hand
Linking Words
, the alternative suggestion to overcome nature's problem globally seems like much more likely to be effective in practice. One obvious example of global warming, which has detrimental impact worldwide.
Therefore
Linking Words
, collaboration and agreement needed to be done by all the countries in the world to tackle it. Apparently, the developing countries may not have that much experience to tackle these problems.
Also
Linking Words
, it is the duty of the developed countries to help these countries, so that globally countries can make the earth better again. To sum up,
although
Linking Words
it may seem easier to solve the environmental problems nationally, in practice, dealing with these issues would be more effective when working on a global scale.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
