Some people think news has no connection to people's lives. So then it is a waste of time to read the newspaper and watch television news programs. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays, there is an overwhelming amount of, both true and false,
information
being scattered on the news media every day, which leads to a claim that it is futile to watch or read news. I,
however
, disagree with
this
statement due to the undeniable benefits of being up-to-date.
To begin
with, it is understandable to feel alienated and unrelated to the news due to the irrelevant
information
. Indeed, a news
channel
now has to cover a wide range of categories and each individual would have their own personalized preference to acquire new knowledge.
For example
, VTV3, a news
channel
in Vietnam, is obligated to cover
information
about
politics but
Accept comma addition
politics, but
most of the teenagers are unconcerned with those matters so it is natural for them to disregard the need to watch

the news
.
However
, I still strongly support watching and reading news due to educational benefits. Newspaper or television programs are functionally designed to provide up-to-date
information
to the viewers and that
information
can be of critical importance to the public without everyone realizing it.
This
can be seen in the case of Coronavirus news in which some might not feel related to the
information
in December 2019, but thanks to the awareness of
this
disease at the early stage, the Vietnam government has been able to limit the effect of
this
highly infectious disease.
Furthermore
, exactly because the interest of people
in
Suggestion
with
information
is highly different, the news
channel
has to include a wide array of categories. It is true that the youngster, more likely than not, find most of the political news
unrelatable but

unreliable, but
unreliable but
there are many businessmen and more mature people that would be highly interested in
such
news. The same stories can be applied to celebrity gossip and
rumor
gossip (usually a mixture of truth and untruth) passed around by word of mouth
rumour
so if one thinks watching
news
Suggestion
the news
is a waste of time, maybe he/she should change the
channel
. In conclusion, despite the negative effect, I want to reaffirm that it is not futile to watching or reading news, in fact acquiring new
information
can prove to have significant educational impacts.
