It is sometimes thought that the people who travel outside of their own country are more tolerant and understanding of others. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Well, I strongly agree and I believe every time that we are going out of our comfort-zone is like fresh air for our brain. I see travelling as a chance to grab, as an opportunity to extend more the border of my mind. And, yes, we become more tolerant and understanding of others because be in another country make us able to learn about their habits, their language, their clothes, their food. Just in
this
way we can put away the prejudice of the strangest of something/someone far thousands kilometres of us who look different. In addiction, I think we become more tolerant,
first
of all, with ourselves because, especially if we are alone on travel, we are going to learn more about our person, to test our capacity.
However
, travelling give us the
chace
a possibility due to a favorable combination of circumstances
chance
choice
to discover and understand how are organized, how are working other places and different cities.
