Using social media as Facebook, Twitter is replacing face-to-face communication im this century. Do you thing the advantages outweigh the disadvantages .

Twitter have become an indispensable means of communication. While I argue that
this
development has both benefits and drawbacks, I would believe that the disadvantages outweigh the advantages of
this
trend. On the one hand, using social media gives some opportunities to people around the
world
.
Firstly
, with the help of social media, people who live far from their family or friends can maintain the relations with them.
In other words
, the era of computers has brought mankind a means to easily send messages to people all over the

Secondly
, it helps a person to make new friends around the globe.
As a result

Thus

there are those saying that social media has become prevalent.
On the other hand
, I argue that there are

more drawbacks than benefits.
First
of all, people tend to contact each other less than before in daily life. Fir instance, today each person has his or her own mobile phone.
Thus

they prefer sending messages to talking in person. The
second
disadvantage is that post people, especially, youngsters are becoming

Subsequently

although
it is undeniable fact that using social media gives a lot of opportunities to people, I assert that face-to-face communication is more efficient way to stay in touch with people

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
