Some people believe that entertainers are more important than scientist in today’s world. Do you agree or disagree?

Every job in
this
 world is important right from the comedians to the engineers as they inter depend on each other in an indirect way. Yet some consider the people who entertains are more essential than the people in research. In my opinion, I would say that people who are involved in the thesis are the one who is needed than who is in working on entertainment. It is evident from our past that people involved in developing solutions to the real problems are the one who lift up the lives of people to the higher level.
For example
 a wheel which is considered to be one of the initial discovery of mankind solved the traditional mobility of human and still it stands strong. These arguments effectively add up to the fact that scientist's will be much needed today. People working in entertainment are needed in today's hectic schedule, but will not make them essential. An actor or an entertainer will definitely not able to bring up a change in society. They can able influence people's mentality to a greater extend but that too is not a fact.
