Many people think that it is better to get advice from old rather than young people. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is sometimes argued whether people should seek advice from elderly people or young generation.
Although
in a few specific contexts, it had better to apply elder members of society, I am of the opinion that by and large, young generation
are
Suggestion
is
ideal for recommendations. Admittedly, there might be sensible reasons why it is considered best to get advice from old people.
Firstly
, old people have more life experience than younger ones so that they have already experienced some dilemmas.
As a result
, they can provide people with an opinion based on past experience.
Moreover
, seniors have better analytical skills which might enable them to make unbiased judgments. In case, they are asked for decision making, they are able to think comprehensively in terms of giving a beneficial recommendation.
However
, in general, there might be some drawbacks of considering the old people's opinion.
First
and foremost, as elderly people are lack of idea about the benefits of the advanced area, they are less likely to be helpful about some topics.
However
, they could possibly make wrong decisions about topics which are related to current time
such
as technology.
Additionally
, the elder generation might be reluctant to give up the traditional thinking which could be disapproved by the youngsters.
For instance
, when we ask our grandmothers to suggest a nice dress for a party, they usually fail to think according to the contemporary fashion and suggest something which is outdated. In conclusion, while older people can give the best advice in some aspects of life, I mostly believe that more consultation ought to be made with younger ones.
