Foreign visitors should pay more than local visitors for cultural and historical attractions. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

It is argued that international tourists should pay higher than locals to

. I strongly disagree with the statement due to the following reasons.

To begin

with, imposing more charge on overseas travellers is an unfair and shortsighted view. One of the reasons for

is that foreigners contribute to the economy of the host

country

by spending their money on a wide range of goods and services

as food, accommodation and transportations.

For instance

, tourists who

Malaysia have to pay at least 6 percent hotel tax per night per room while locals are exempted from

, there is no need for international visitors to pay extra at historical and cultural sites.

, they would feel resentful and might decide not to
