In many places, new homes are needed, but the only space available for building them is in the countryside. Some people believe it is more important to protect the countryside and not build new homes in there. What is your opinion about this?

With increasing population all over the globe, there is a clear need for more homes. Rural areas seem to be the only accessible land to fulfil the housing need.

the living accommodation
is of critical importance; some keep preserving the greenfield lands in perspective. I entirely approve of
this
idea and elaborate on the reasons as follows.
Initially
, house construction in countries will impose a severe threat to natural landscapes. It means that putting up new houses not only may ruin the natural beauty, but
also
exert pressure on the whole ecosystem.
This
consequently
might take a toll on wildlife and green space in the long run, leaving graver concerns. Not to mention that developing
such
new living facilities will deprive future generations of exploring and enjoying nature’s bounties. Another reason why I disagree with construction in villages is that responsible authorities should tackle the housing issue within the existing settlements rather than create new ones.
In other words
, completing well-designed buildings

do not bring
an end to the housing need

other than homes, essential systems for human

habitation, including
transportation, financial, and, educational infrastructures have to be taken into consideration. For
this
reason, it is advisable to solve the accommodation crisis in the cities
instead
of country sides, where roads, railways, banks, schools, and, most importantly, employment facilities are already available. In conclusion, I believe that housing development in rural areas shall be banned as it will harm natural landscapes and impose additional investment in infrastructures.
