Every year several languages die out. Some people think that this is not important because life will be easier if there are fewer languages in the world. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

There are more than ten thousand different linguists around the world. I believe that the world may be benefitted with less languages, while I agree that they represent heritage of a nation should be preserved. There are some advantages of speaking fewer language.
Firstly
, there may be minimum difficulty in understanding each other.
As a result
, the flow of trade will be smooth across the border and businesses will flourish,
further
accelerating globalisation. There will be a few hurdles for a local trader to expand globally.
For instance
, In India, there are more than a thousand local languages, which may act as a barrier for international businesses to promote their products,
hence
with a limited dialect it will be convenient for investor to communicate and understand the needs of the people.
Secondly
, it may boost immigration.
In other words
, one of the main problems of migration is to understand the words spoken by local people, which can be mitigated with limited dialect.
On the other hand
, many ancient linguistic spoken globally has their own history and tradition attached to it which are followed for decades.
This
means that with extinction of it, many cultures will
also
be forgotten.
Furthermore
, many new words are derived from old literature.
For example
, many of the English words, spoken across the border, are derived from Sanskrit, which is not slowly phasing out from the world. In conclusion,
although
development is an important factor for people to succeed and have a better future, it should not be achieved by compromising the ancient language which reflects the genesis of humankind.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
