International tourism has brought enormous benefits to many places. At the same time, there is concern about its impact on local inhabitants and the environment. Do the disadvantages of international tourism outweigh the advantages? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

The
tourism
industry has played an important role in favour of many places. While is possible to claim that it affects their local
culture
and atmosphere. My
view
is that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. In
this
essay, I shall explain my point of
view
by analysing both sides of an argument. There are several reasons why
tourism
is very important for any place. One of them is that it is beneficial for the local economy. Whenever, tourists visit any place they spend money on their accommodation, food, and transportation. In
this
way, they contribute to their local economy. It can
also
be argued that local businesses have a positive response due to
tourism
,
for example
, more employments because of new businesses. Those who argue for the negative side of
tourism
have a different
view
and say
that is
actually not a good thing.
firstly
Suggestion
Firstly
, It is claimed that local residents always feel the disturbance as lots of people are visiting their area they are the main source of noise pollution.
Then
, there are
also
concerns about their heritage and
culture
, they believe they are losing their original
culture
due to other cultures. While there are strong arguments on both sides of the case, My personal
view
is that
tourism
has a very positive impact on the local economy and it is one of the main sources of revenue. I would strongly recommend that every country should promote their local
tourism
so other people can learn more about their
culture
and show the positive side of their beliefs.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
