Many people believe that media coverage of celebrities is having a negative effect on children. To what extent do you agree?

Celebrity news has always been interesting to the media and the public, but in recent years, with the advent of social networks and smartphones, production and distribution contents related to the glamorous lives of celebrities is increasing dramatically, which makes it inevitable to ignore them.
However
, doesn’t
this
hurt peoples' thoughts and damage their lives, especially those of learning age? In
this
essay I will show that how exposure to the famous people news could hurt children.
First
of all,
this
media coverage could lead to forming destructive schemas. These thoughts pop into the child’s mind by seeing the exaggerated picture of a luxurious, exciting and fulfilling life of celebrities, which does not match with the true standard of life.
For example
, consider children who follow superstars news. They see well-built bodies and beautiful faces that have much higher standards than the average norm.
Therefore they
Accept comma addition
Therefore, they
could struggle with their body image leading to severe depression and anxiety. Not only that,
this
news coverage prevents other important news from being seen.
That is
to say, due to the attractive nature of well-known figures' news and gossip, people pay more attention to them, so if news agency cover them in great details
instead
of disseminating important news, they’ll attract more viewers and higher income
thereafter
.
As a result
, children grow up with an unrealistic and imaginative view from their surroundings, leading to lower social and emotional intelligence. Having said that, it’s an indisputable fact that knowing about the lives of some celebrities could be encouraging for children. Since some celebrities have faced many difficulties in their lives and have been able to overcome these difficulties to achieve significant victories, their efforts can motivate children to strive for a better life. To sum up, in despite of the fact that knowing about the lives of celebrities could be inspirational, it may cause some serious psychological problem for children and damage their intelligence. I personally believe that, not until some regulations are imposed on news agencies to avoid exaggeration and overemphasizing, should parents let children to pursue celebrity news relentlessly.
