Some parents think that childcare centres provide the best services for children of pre-school age. Other working parents think that family members such as grandparents will be better caregivers for their young children. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

by their relatives
.
Although
family members have knowledge based on their previous
experience
, I believe that
this
is not enough and it is more beneficial for children to be taken
care
of by professionals in the hopes of developing their abilities. On the one hand, some parents argue that it is preferable to let their relatives take
care
of their children because they have
experience
.
This
is because those people dedicated many hours taking
care
of their offsprings before they going to school and
this
gave them knowledge in different aspects
such
as nutrition, values, among others.
For example
, it was illustrated in a recent New York Times article that highlighted that 75 % of new mothers prefer relatives to take
care
of their offsprings because they trusted in those people with
experience
. Despite
this
, I believe that there are other points to take
care
into consideration more than the
experience
.
On the other hand
, there is a group of parents that claim that it is more beneficial for their children to attend

centres. The simple reason for
this
is that in those centres, children are taking
care
of professionals and
this
will allow them to receive the stimulation that they required to develop their skills. To exemplify, Ireland was the
first
country to introduce a nationwide plan of nurseries as support for

mothers.
As a result
, the majority of children developed other skills than common ones
such
as social and artistic. In conclusion,
although
some people have
experience
in taking
care
of children, it is largely more beneficial for children to be taken
care
of in childcare centres with the aim of developing their abilities properly.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
