In some countries, governments are encouraging industries and businesses to move to regional areas outside the big cities. Do the advantages of this trend outweigh the disadvantages?

Industries and businesses in some developed and developing countries are motivated by governments to move to the rural areas from metropolitan cities. While there are benefits in relocating the trade, there are some disadvantages operating them outside cities. In
this
essay, we will discuss both sides explain how advantages are higher than disadvantages. As cities are getting densely populated with no cleaner air to breathe, the best solution is to move some industries, and employment in regional areas having less pollution. Moving to an area with low demand may be unprofitable as skilled resources may be unavailable.
Also
, dealing with providers, clients and other contacts may not be beneficial as customer base is located in the city. Apart from
this
, infrastructure can be less developed, that will be problematic for work.
Moreover
, public transportation could be poor outside the city, and workers have to relive on their own transportation.
For example
, Bombay is overcrowded with many companies, and many companies do not want to move away from here because everything is so readily available.
On the other hand
, with no space available for expansion of businesses and growth of industries in urban areas, the suburbs around cities are more likely to get developed. Because more land is available at a cheaper rate in the suburbs, the trade could be expanded.
Also
, workers are available at less salary and it can be profitable to work and since more jobs are available, locals can benefit from it.
In addition
to
this
, employees are distressed unlike longer commutes to cities and they get a healthier environment to live in due to less pollution, and no traffic congestion. As a consequence, cities get less populated, and results in the development of rural areas. With the above in mind, it is clear that running businesses and industries in cities or outside cities, both have positive and negative aspects, and in the long term, running businesses outside the cities has greater advantages than disadvantages.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
