Nowadays, some opinions say that the offender is to give longer jail sentence has been receiving a great deal of public attention.
Although

 suggestion is attractive, there are some alternative ways which are positive. Both of view discussed in

 essay. There are benefits of giving criminals longer lockup. During the time in jail, the offenders will have opportunities to get rehabilitated.
For instance
, Longer penitentiary sentences would act as a deterrent and would be one useful measure to tackle rising crime.
However
, some people argue that leaving people in prison for a long time means that the mixture dangerous other convicts and so their character will not improve. In fact, They will still reactivate. One alternative is community service.
