it’s unreasonable to force people into a new way of living. On one hand, adapting to new customs where people move to is perfectly understandable and to some extent, necessary. It’s important that foreigners acknowledge the basic customs and social norms in their current residence in order to avoid certain problems. To illustrate, in Korea, they have a complex system of vocative particles to help the speakers address their level of intimacy as well as their social position. If you move to the country and don’t know these rituals, your words may be considered as harassment by the locals and you may end up unemployed. In some worst cases, people can even break the law by being completely unaware of some traditions in their new living places.
On the other hand

We are living in the age of globalization, that means each individual has to embrace their own culture, their national pride in order to spread the world the beauty of each and every land, every nation on Earth.
