has become more widespread, since the Internet invention, that has allowed a lot of information to be freely accessible and available. To

extent, some people consider an advantage to have

possibility, while others deem the

knowledge

shouldn't be freely shared for its importance. I partially agree with the

point of view and in

essay I will suggest some food for thoughts. One of the main reasons to share the

knowledge

is that it could be fundamental to clarify some hidden and obscure issues for the whole world. What I mean is that in the scientific research,

, it is important to perfectly know what has been already discovered, in order to keep up with modern problems and invest time and efforts in more useful ideas. Another major concern is that everyone can access it and in many cases

would help in prompting new ideas. Let's think of the business world; if new discoveries are revealed, more modern policies could be tested.

discoveries. As an example, if new ideas are freely shared, someone else could make them better and gain higher profits, without any intellectual effort. To sum up, the free share is a good way to enlarge the worldwide

, but on the other side, it might reveal drawbacks for the ones directly involved in research. I personally believe that a better balance should be found, maybe helping to patent ideas, in order to protect them the best.
