Forest are the lungs of the earth. Destruction of world's forests amounts to death of the world we currently know. To what extent do you agree or disagree.

The need of alternative fuel energy and other materialistic lust have
consequently
converted
this
planet into a very miserable place after consistent cutting of trees, while the earth natural green reserves purify our atmosphere and function as a mammalian lung. From my perspective,
this
destruction will ruin our present world.
To begin
with, from the basic knowledge of plant physiology, it can be restated that photosynthesis in plants and trees convert harmful gases like carbon dioxide into oxygen, without which life cannot exist.
In addition
, forests purify the whole atmosphere and help in sustaining life, whereas environmentalists have proven that, demolishing of these green patches not only destroy the local habitat, but
also
causes global warming.
For instance
, approximately half of the rain forest in the Amazon has been destroyed by the wildfire,
as a result
carbon emission index has drastically increased.
Thus
, the rapid diminishing of the woodlands would eventually lead to natural calamity
such
as arid lands and famine.
Furthermore
, scientific research has proven that forest ecosystem act as natural scavengers, jungle ecology helps in maintaining the ecosystem of the world.
Moreover forests
Accept comma addition
Moreover, forests
are
also
a source of numerous medicinal plants, from which varieties of modern medicines are produced
such
as Quinine, an antimalarial drug which produced from the barks of Cinchona trees is the best possible example. Henceforth, if the forests destroyed,
then
there would lose thos plants which we use in medicines. To sum up, the harmony of the present world will be ruined if our natural green reserves are continuously destroyed and there is a theoretical possibility that the blue planet might become lifeless if these green lungs are totally wiped out.
