The diagram depicts the reproduction process of amphibians in water. Overall, the cycle consists of eleven distinct stages, beginning with the frog eggs and ending up with the adult amphibian. The process commences with the eggs that were laid by an adult frog, which after fertilisation transform into embryos. After that, they begin hatching resulting tadpoles, which eventually attach to the plants underneath the water. The
next
stage in the cycle is related to the development of tadpoles.
This
step involves the development of external

this
stage the colour of the tadpoles remains black. Once
this
stage is complete, the front legs emerge and the tail becomes shorter and gradually disappears. At the same time, the baby frogs change their colour from black to dark green and ultimately to bright green.
Finally
, the body shape becomes frog-like and the metamorphosis into adult form happens rapidly.
