International tourism has brought enormous benefits to many places. At the same time, there is concern about its impact on local inhabitants and the environment. Do the disadvantages of international tourism outweigh the advantages?

Nowadays, global travelling has become affordable. While some believe that foreign tourism has shown huge positive response to many countries, it has
also
caused issues with the native people and their surroundings.
This
essay will explain why I believe that tourism drawbacks are less when compared to its benefits. Considering
firstly
the negatives of international travelling, an important one would be the problems they may cause to a local resident.
This
is because they are not acquainted with their cultural belief, and may provoke them or may disappoint them regarding it.
For example
, touching feet, which is a custom for respect to elders, might make them laugh and
this
might create trouble for them.
Furthermore
, tourist most of the time litter around. Because of
such
inappropriate behaviour, the surrounding sometime gets vandalised.
However
, the most important advantages of global tourists for the host country are the foreign currency and cultural mix. With regards to the former
,
Accept space
,
the international currency these travellers gets to spend helps in developing the economy of that place.
As a result
, it helps in creating more employment and development. As for the latter, meeting a person from a different community helps in creating the understanding of unknown things. To illustrate, Yoga, which is used for meditation, is now being worldwide and helping lots of people in making them feel uplifted.
Consequently
, cultural exchange has a huge benefit. To conclude, I think the disadvantages of international tourism like issues with the local people and harming the environment are outweighed by the advantages because of currency exchange and mixing of cultures.
