Some children find some subjects such as Maths and philosophy too difficult to learn, so some people argue that these subjects should be optional rather than compulsory. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is considered by many that a few subjects should not be made mandatory in schools, rather, the students should be given an option to choose whether they want to
study
these subjects
further
or not, and I completely agree. I believe that it will de-stress them and will give them the opportunity to pursue the ones they enjoy.
Firstly
, overloading pupils with unnecessary load only increases their stress level. Being forced to
study
something which is beyond their understanding, not only worries
them but
Accept comma addition
them, but
also
wastes
serving no useful purpose; having no excuse for being
wasted
their precious time on something which probably they won't be considered as their career choice anyway.
For example
, someone who has hated Maths for his or her entire childhood and has been keen on studying History or English, is very unlikely to opt for a career that involves complex mathematical calculations.
Hence
, pressurising them to do well in
such
subjects is really not required.
Additionally
, compulsion to
study
something can take away time from what they are really keen to do. Even if a kid had the merit to excel in one subject, they are sometimes unable to do so as some other subjects are keeping them occupied.
For instance
, even though a few pupils have an aptitude for Maths, they are unable to get good marks in that particular subject, simply because they are preoccupied with another one, which they cannot wait to get over with.
Therefore
, they should be given the chance to select the subjects they want to go ahead with,
instead
of having to concentrate on everything. In conclusion, the way our educational system works needs to change.
Moreover
, they
also
need to before flexible and offer
such
flexibility to the young generation as well. Rather than compelling them to
study
everything and
thus
causing them trauma, they should keep an open mind and let the learners choose what they want to learn.
