The given maps show the development of Ashford since 2010 to present. Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the bridge was added, whereas yachts took the job of ferry in the river. There was a significant expansion of housing and serious deforestation on the side of River Tam. The present access to the city was connected by a bridge which has replaced ferry as river transportation. There were the yachts as another option to cross over River Tam by adding a way on the southern main road to the harbour which consisted of two to three yachts each dock. The housing on Eastern River Tam has expanded rapidly, according to the substantial addition of two-storey houses and increasing number of small houses. On the western side of River Tam showed the forest trees on the southern road has lost, while the condition on the northern side was remained same.
