Films and computer games which contain violence are very popular. Some people believe they have a negative effect on society and so should be banned. Other people, however, say they are just harmless and help people to relax. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Violent contents have become widely spread recently, specifically in watchable films and computer contests. While some proponents defend
such
tough contents claiming that they help relieve the hardships of life, other opponents are of the belief that these violent games and movies should be restricted as they have side effects on individuals and
consequently
the surrounding environment. According to my personal point of view, the damage caused by these harsh contents outweighs their benefits. In fact, both sides along with my belief will be thoroughly discussed in the following lines. On the one hand, harsh movies and games constructively influence people and communities according to some individuals. For them,
although
the brutal games and films may seem hard and negative for some people, they do have a role in decreasing the stress faced during the daily battles of

the soul
. In
this
regard, a report published on the BBC has shown that the majority of those who watch violent movies regularly or play fighting games are likely to have a better performance in their study or work as the stress that they could suffer from has been already emptied by playing or watching these hard media.
Accordingly
, they become ready to face another real fight in growth.
Thus
, violent media are helpful in
this
regard.
On the other hand
, a big number of people completely disagree with the previous shown opinion asserting that the confirming negative impact left by violence is inevitable. They liken the human brain to a sponge that absorb that violence, which is like water here, which is eventually reflected in a negative way on everyone's personal activity. When some experiments conducted on a number of secondary students, it was concluded that those who have tough reactions and violent movements with their colleagues and families are the same who are exposed to harsh films and games.
Therefore
, it is believed that, regarding that belief, negative behaviour is a mere result of
this
exposure to tough contents. To conclude, watching hard scenes may be a way to decrease the tense state.
However
, the negative influences of these activities are much more than their positives. I totally support the latter thought and recommend making use of the leisure time in some more beneficial practices that could affect the individual and societies in a useful way.
