Some people think that parents should teach children how to be good members of society. Others, however, believe that school is the place to learn this. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

It is considered by some that the children's basic principles of life should be taught by parents while some people think that the place to learn becoming good members of society should be learnt from
school
. In my opinion, parents are responsible for teaching these principles to their children at a young age, while the
school
focuses on teaching them educational skills. It is generally believed that parents are solely responsible for instilling good habits in the minds of young learners which I believe is true. The learning process begins at
home
. Parents should teach their children these skills from a very young age as they will follow these instructions for the rest of their life. Critical thinking ability of children is improved as they start thinking of ways of how they can prove to be a good example.

Suggestion
On
the other hand,
school
teaches children much more subjects that could develop them in developing technical skills
in addition
to developing their personality. If we only expect schools to teach
this
then
the students who join
school
late will be lacking in
this
regard as some parents decide to
home
school
their kids or can't afford the tuition fees involved, so they should make sure the children are being taught since they start understanding the principles of life. In conclusion, I believe the learning process begins at
home
, so the basics of humanity and serving well to our society should begin from
home
rather than relying on schools to teach them.
