The bar chart illustrates daily recommended proportion of fruit and vegetable consumed by the UK citizens in three different periods, 2002, 2006, and 2010. In general, the percentage of men, women, and children, experienced the fluctuation throughout the whole time frame.
However
, vegetable and fruit, mostly consumed by females. In 2002, 25% of the healthy food (vegetable and fruit) ate by the female group. The percentage increased sharply to 32% in the
next
four years. Children
in contrast
, consumed only 11% in the
first
period, and 18% in 2006. Men showed nearly the same proportion as women, which was 22% at the beginning and slightly increased to 26% in 2006.
However
, these three groups experienced a small fall to 24%, 26%, and 16% for male, female, and children, respectively. But still, women were consistent to eat healthy food which was shown by the overall trend.
