People believe that in order to reduce road accidents it should be mandatory for drivers to retake the driving test every 3 years. Do you agree or disagree with the above statement?

A steep rise in the use of vehicles has
also
increased the
road
accidents, especially in the urban areas. I opine that the government should make it compulsory for the people to take the driving
test
every three years to control the negligent driving and reduce
road
accidents. In
this
essay, I will discuss the significance of driving
test
and how the
retest
will help largely to the society.
Firstly
, these days driving has become an essential skill for everyone and getting a driving licence from an authority is equally important before driving any vehicle. To get a driving license everyone has to go through a driving
test
which tests obviously the driving skills,
traffic
rules and ability to follow the
traffic
rules in a given setup. Often, people try to follow all the
traffic
rules while giving them
test whereas
Accept comma addition
test, whereas
when it comes to daily routine, they show gradual carelessness and negligence which is very dangerous.
Thus
, introducing a
retest
mechanism would force them to drive carefully.
Further
,
retest
of driver’s skills and ability to follow the
traffic
rules from time to time will mandate them to drive their vehicle carefully and which can in turn reduce the negligent driving.
Moreover
, the
retest
would create deterrence among the people that their license might be cancelled if they show any signs of negligent driving or not following any particular
traffic
rules while
retest
. So,
this
deterrence will make them internally more causation while driving on the
road
and can reduce
road
accidents. In conclusion, the government should take steps to conduct the driving
test
every three years and
also
make
this
mandatory policy for everyone in order to prevent any tragic events on
road
Suggestion
the road
.
