Because in today's
world
 because of internet connectivity, easily available to almost everyone, there is a better bonding between entertainers of different industry, namely films, music and sports with people around the
world
 by which they can influence huge amount of population.
This
 is one of the crucial cause of them is getting highly paid. In my opinion, I agree that they are heavily paid, because there are numerous different vocations whose actions are beneficial to the
world
, which makes it a better place to live. One of the foremost occupation is environmentalist, these people spread awareness about the hazards doings of the inhabitant which can harm the nature. The other profession is garbage collector, though he is collecting the garbage from our house, but indeed he is cleaning the environment and recycling the waste according to the type of garbage, their job is considered as less respectful and their wages are
also
 very much lower than that of entertainers. The defence staff working 24*7 to protect us from threats around the globe, they are paid less than an engineer who is working on a computer in a safe surrounding rather than a warrior battling in a war field. The athletes who represent a country and win medals for the same are ignored in terms of giving them what they deserve. These professions should get the prestige, respect and importance same as the entertainers, as they help us to live with better and protected
world
 with dignity and prosperity.
This
 will help to boost their morale and they would work more selflessly and enthusiastically to make the
world
 a better place.
