The dangers and complexities of the modern world have made the mobile phone an absolute necessity for children. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

World
today revolves around mobile phones, after the millennium the use of mobile
phone
has increased and mobile
phone
manufacturers are designing smart phones for all ages. Despite the fact that mobile phones are in use by everyone, but
childern
a young person of either sex
children
are the ones getting exposed to
this
technology. Since
this
technology comes with great feature to assist an individual and connect to the
world
, it has its cons as well. I will discuss the dangers and complexities of the modern
world
, but I totally agree that since the
world
today is changing with respect to crime and terrorism, the mobile
phone
is playing a vital role to connect our
childern
a young person of either sex
children
with family members. After 9/11 we learned a new term called terrorism, which we all experienced living in Karachi. Parents were not comfortable to allow their
childern
a young person of either sex
children
to go out without knowing if they are safe. The mobile
phone
was the only device which
one
can carry along with them and post updates back to their family.
Therefore
,
Childern
a young person of either sex
children
can be reached out to their mobile
phone
which is considered best practice to know whether they require assistance or not. I want to share my experience with an example, I used to travel through a public bus from my home to my school, I was about 12 years old and
one
fine day the public bus malfunctioned and, I had to leave and catch another bus, through google maps I was able to locate myself and was notifed that I need to walk for 10 minutes to reach to the
next
bus stop. It was the mobile
phone
that had helped me know my location. The modern
world
has a lot of complexities and
one
of the them is the content which is not suitable for
childern
a young person of either sex
children
below the age of 18. It is nearly impossible to restrict the child to get exposed to the adult content which is widely available on all social media platforms.
This
is
one
of the only facts that leads me to draw my opinion that mobile phones are not suitable for. The smartphone should be given to the
childern
a young person of either sex
children
if they are going out and will be at a distance from their home. A city like Karachi where citizens of
this
city face terrorism and street crime at the same time, it is hard to decide whether mobile contact is a necessity for
childern
a young person of either sex
children
. To a certain extent I agree for the fact that, YES, it is becoming a necessity because every parent living in
this
city needs to know about their
childern's
safety and with street crime spiking up because of mobile
phone
it is really difficult to be safe.
