Providing a national system in a country where the unemployed receive a regular payment only encourages people not to seek work and puts an unreasonable strain on a country's financial resources. Discuss this statement and give your opinion.

There is no iota of doubt that unemployment is increasing like wildfire in most of the countries. No wonder, some countries provide regular payments to its's unemployed citizens.
However
,
this
trend is still a debatable issue, as some critics believe that
this
trend motivates people not to find a job, and eventually, they become a burden on
nation
Suggestion
nation's
financial income. In my opinion, to some extent, it is a negative development that I will discuss in the subsequent paragraphs. On the one hand, it should be unsurprising that the unemployment rate increases by day and night; some people applied for
government
assistance
to
fulfill
put in effect
fulfil
their basic needs.
However
, some people advocate that regular financial aid makes people lazy and motivates people to remain unemployed as they are receiving
money
from the
government
. Undoubtedly,
this
trend puts pressure on the
countries
Suggestion
country's
economy as fewer number of will be encouraged to do the job as the
government
is providing them regular payment because of the
government
will not receive enough tax for the development of the country. Admittedly,
This
culture affects people who are working and earning
money
from their job and contributing to the
countries
Suggestion
country's
economy through tax to feel
demotivated
towards work. They can see those other people getting
money
from the
government
without doing anything.
For example
, the recent survey conducted by Cambridge University demonstrated that during the COVID-19 pandemic, more than 90% of people filed for unemployment to the
government
even they were getting from their employers by working at home.
On the other hand
, needless to say, providing temporary financial
assistance
to needy people is not a bad idea in the crisis as some people work from paycheck to paycheck to fulfil their fundamental needs.
Moreover
, the
government
must regulate financial
assistance
so that people who are really in a critical situation should receive aid from the
government
.
Also
, the
government
needs to monitor the people's financial situation every month, and when the situation becomes better, they should stop providing
money
to the people so that that
money
can be used for other needy people and development of the country. In conclusion, from aforesaid points, no doubt, the
government
must provide and regulate financial
assistance
to people so that people remain motivated to seek employment and gets help from the
government
when they need it.
