Traffic congestion is becoming a huge problem for many major cities. Suggest some measures that could be taken to reduce traffic in big cities.

Major cities have narrow roads if compared with increased percentage of the transportation. In
this
essay, I intend to discuss the reasons for
this
phenomenon and suggest some solutions.
Firstly
, every household has multiple vehicles as per their desire, and there is no check and balance by the concerning authority. To illustrate, people who are rich have one or two cars per person despite their need.
Moreover
, if we look at the middle or lower class there is count of multiple bikes per family.
However
, while the automobile increased in major cities, the count of travellers
also
increased.
Secondly
, poor road conditions and bad infrastructure put worst effect on moving machine; the Government has no plans to resolve
this
issue. In major cities where there is burden of heavy shipment vehicles roaming around the city slowing down the pace of people.
Moreover
, journey of hundreds of miles turns into hurdle because of broken roads and no bridges to narrow the gap of time.
On the other hand
, there are some possible solutions to conquer the road related issues.
First
of all, transport control association should introduce new laws to regulate vehicles. To elaborate, they should restrict the number of cars by putting higher price tags and charge car owners hefty amount of taxes, so they will not think to own multiple cars.
second
Suggestion
Second
of all, improving the road situation and build new bridges will
also
cater and improve 50% of the traffic situations.
Thirdly and
Accept comma addition
Thirdly, and
most importantly, the heavy traffic vehicle should be only allowed to enter in major cities with permission of Government time. To conclude people should
also
take responsibility by not going out non essentially, so
this
will reduce 30% of transit congestion without any measures by government.
