Very few school children learn about the value of money and how to look after it, yet this is a critical life skill that should be taught as part of the school curriculum. Do you agree or disagree?

It is strongly believed that
school

the school
is the learning hub for children, yet they fail to teach them the value of
money
which is the essential part of
life
. Many reasons act as a major factor in
this
case
such
as the lifestyle provided by their parents, latest trends, television influences etc.
This
essay will focus on some of the important points related to
this
topic and will state my opinion.
First
of all, it is mainly due to the syllabus book generated for the

from schools,
hence
, school should be a place where the student should fully be aware of almost all the
life
lessons. Despite
this
, schools mostly concentrate only on subjects
such
as mathematics, sciences, social studies and the languages. These subjects are important and are necessary, yes, but some
life
skills are
also
necessary for the
child
’s growth and development.
Secondly
, I
also
believe that it is the responsibility of the parent to look after these things at home by giving them a task and supervise them to see if they are up to the mark. As they are young and playful most of the times, the task can
also
be in that manner. It can help them improve as a person and understand the value of things in their
life
. Every time the
child
is given some
money
, he should be told to keep it safe. If the
child
misplaces the
money
given to him, it should not be overlooked. Overall, I would say that, I partially agree with the topic and I
also
agree that saving and valuing
money
should be taught to the
child
since his initial days so that it becomes a habit. The
child
should know the hard work done by his parents to earn the
money
they do.
